The School of Law and Policy (SLP), University of Management and Technology, organized an engaging session titled “A Legisprudential Analysis of the 26th and Proposed 27th Amendments to the Constitution of Pakistan” on November 10, 2025.
The distinguished speaker, Justice (R) Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi, shared his expert insights on the constitutional dimensions, legal philosophy, and practical implications of the recent and upcoming amendments. The discussion highlighted how legisprudence—the philosophy behind lawmaking—guides legislators to ensure that constitutional reforms serve justice, democracy, and the public interest.
The event, held in Room 1C-16, Main Building, UMT, drew faculty members, students, and legal scholars who actively participated in the dialogue, making the session both informative and thought-provoking.
