The School of Law and Policy (UMT) inaugurated its law clinic, both for students and the University at large. The inauguration event of the SLP law clinic was coupled with a tribute to Ms. Alishba Irshad (late), a Pakistani origin US attorney, who had extensive experience in Human Rights. School of Law and Policy dedicated its Law Clinic to her exceptional endeavors in the legal profession and Barrister Ahmad Pansota, senior advocate High Court and Chairperson of Council of Complaints, PEMRA, Lahore, graced the occasion as a chief guest. In the event, the primary objective of the SLP law clinic was highlighted, i.e., to train our students for providing pro bono legal services, also advising, and counseling. The students showed a lot of interest in the event and asked several questions relating to channelizing their knowledge with the skill of advocacy.
