The School of Law and Policy (SLP) at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) successfully organized an enlightening guest lecture titled “Decoding the 26th Amendment: What It Means for Pakistan” on December 24, 2024.
The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Muhammad Aslam, Additional Draftsman, Ministry of Law and Justice, who brought a wealth of legal expertise and constitutional knowledge to the discussion. In his address, Mr. Aslam provided a detailed breakdown of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, explaining its context, legislative implications, and potential impact on the political and legal landscape of Pakistan.
