Dr. Usman Hameed has joined UMT School of Law and Policy as an Associate Professor. He has a PhD in Law from University of Glasgow, UK and an LL.M from University of Sheffield. He is a member of Lahore High Court Bar Association and is an HEC approved supervisor of law.
Before joining SLP, he served as Director Programmes at Punjab Judicial Academy; Civil Judge/ Judicial Magistrate under the Lahore High Court Lahore, and a Senior Assistant Professor at Bahria University Islamabad. His name is on the panel of advocates representing SNGPL & NBP.
In all, Dr. Hameed has over 19 years of aggregate experience in teaching, research and judicial service. His research interests include international crimes, methods of alternate dispute resolution, and rules of evidence.
