The School of Law and Policy organized an insightful guest lecture on December 3, 2025, featuring Miss Huma Ijaz, Partner at Mandviwalla & Zafar. The session focused on the evolving landscape of corporate law and the legal profession’s response to modern business challenges.
Miss Ijaz walked students through current shifts in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and the growing influence of technology on corporate legal practices. She also highlighted how globalization and new business structures are reshaping the responsibilities of corporate lawyers. Her practical examples from her professional experience helped students understand how theory translates into real-world legal work.
The session drew strong participation from LLB and LLM students who engaged in a lively discussion on career paths, skill development and the future demands of corporate law.
The School of Law and Policy continues to bring industry experts to campus to broaden students’ exposure to professional practice and emerging legal trends.
