Faiqa Ibrahim has joined UMT School of Law and Policy as an assistant professor.She has an LL.B. from University of the Punjab; an LL.M. from McGill University; and she is a member of Lahore High Court Bar Association.
Before joining SLP, she researched on CEDAW – Pakistan chapter; worked with Action Réfugiés Montréal in Canada; worked at Minto and Mirza and Qayyum and Associates, which are Pakistani law firms; worked in a project of United Nations Development Program as a program officer.
Her research interests include social justice and gender disparity. She is working in Pakistan to eliminate discrimination against women and to stop gender violence, by being a part of, and by educating, the legal fraternity.
