Harvard Alumni Series: Panel Discussion on Intellectual Property Issues in Pakistan

Introduction:

The general purpose of this panel-discussion, hosted jointly by a group of Harvard alumni and Center for Law and Policy (CLP), is to create awareness regarding the concept of intellectual property. However, after introducing the idea, the panelists will focus on intellectual property related issues in Pakistan and the role of Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) in this regard.

Panelists:

Sajjad Ahmad [Director General, IPO] is a civil servant with an illustrious career that spans over 26 years. A member of the District Management Group, he has served at both the federal and the provincial levels and has represented Pakistan at various international forums.

Muhammed Khurram [LL.M. (Harvard); Director Legal, IPO] specializes in intellectual property and financial regulation. Before joining IPO as Director Legal, he served at Federal Board of Revenue as Second Secretary.
