School of Law and Policy (SLP) successfully hosted an engaging online webinar on “International Organisations” on March 24, 2026.
The session featured Mian Ghulam Muhayyuddin Nizami as the guest speaker, who delivered an insightful talk on the structure, functions, and evolving role of international organizations in global governance. Drawing on practical examples, he highlighted how institutions such as the United Nations and other multilateral bodies influence international law, conflict resolution, and economic cooperation.
The webinar was attended by a large number of law students and faculty members, who actively participated in the discussion. The speaker also addressed key questions regarding the challenges faced by international organizations in maintaining global peace and enforcing international law.
The session provided students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of international legal frameworks and contemporary global issues. It also reflected SLP’s continued commitment to promoting academic engagement and practical learning through expert-led discussions.
