On 20 May 2016, Hamid Khan [Advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistan] hosted Prof. Dr. Schmolke and Prof. Asad. The discussion revolved around the perception of Pakistan in the international community, law and order situation in the country, and developments in legal education in Europe, South East Asia, and Pakistan. Mr. Khan and Prof. Dr. Schmolke praised Prof. Asad for establishing and maintaining active academic collaborations with European and North American law faculties and organisations, which include faculty exchange, student exchange, and research sharing.
