The School of Law and Policy (UMT) has become the official member of the International Bar Association, the foremost organisation for international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. Established in 1947, the IBA was born out of the conviction that an organisation made up of the world's bar associations could contribute to global stability and peace through the administration of justice.The IBA has considerable expertise in providing assistance to the global legal community, and through its global membership it influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world.
SLP is the only Law School in Pakistan who has acquired the membership of IBA along with its students till the end of 2022. SLP is looking forward to a beneficial association with an organization of this stature and it is indeed a moment of Pride.
