On 13 March 2017, as part of the ongoing collaboration between Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) and UMT School of Law and Policy (SLP), Syed Imad-ud-Din Asad [Founding Director and Associate Professor, SLP] gave a talk, titled “Islamic Law in Pakistan,” at Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, KU Leuven.
Prof. Asad introduced Islamic law, its scope, its sources, and how it is developed. Then he discussed the significance and application of Islamic law in Pakistan.
The audience comprised of professors, under-graduate students, and graduate students, who really appreciated Professor Asad’s interactive style.
