On 06 March 2018, Hiba Akbar [Lecturer, SLP] hosted Sohail Akbar Warraich [Advocate, High Court] for a talk, titled “Mahr and its Complexities,” as part of her course on Islamic personal law, which is offered to LL.B. [Part-III] candidates.
Mr. Warraich is a member of National Commission on the Status of Women, where he advises on matters of law. He has been a human rights activist for over 35 years.
