UMT School of Law and Policy held a webinar on consent of women in different matters dealing with pre and post matrimonial issues on 20th January 2021. Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal and Advocate Nasira Iqbal were invited as guest speakers. The guest speakers raised awareness about obtaining consent as per law. Child marriages, consent for marriage in accordance with Sharia law and laws of Pakistan, abuse in marriage were some of the issues discussed in the webinar.
