On 19 July 2018, a group of students pursuing LL.B. at UMT School of Law and Policy [SLP] were invited by Justice Jawad Hassan [Judge, Lahore High Court] to witness the proceedings at his court. The group was accompanied by Syed Imad-ud-Din Asad [Founding Director and Associate Professor, SLP].
The group witnessed the disposal of various corporate, tax, civil, and family matters by Justice Hassan. Afterwards, the group was hosted by Justice Hassan in his chamber where he had a frank chat with Prof. Asad and his students about legal education and legal profession. Justice Hassan also praised Prof. Asad for establishing SLP as one of the leading law schools in Pakistan.
