On September 9th, 2025, The UMT School of Law and Policy will host an insightful webinar titled ""Women in Islamic-Soicio perspective". The session will be moderated by Ms. Saira Naheed, who will engage in an in-depth discussion with Syeda Fatima Batool, holds LLM from the University of London and Development as well as an MA in Political Science from the University of Punjab. She has two decades of experience in teaching various subjects including Human Rights of Children, Human Rights of Women, Youth Justice, Criminal Law, Labour Law, Comparative Personal Law, Islamic Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Research Methodology, and Political Science at various law colleges, as well as universities including Punjab University
The webinar will focus on the to highlight the concept of Islam about women's dignity. To justify the socio-economic role of women in the modern era. To discuss promotion of western civilization in societies.
Established in 2011, the School of Law and Policy (SLP), a constituent unit of the University of Management and Technology, Lahore, offers a five-year degree program of LL.B and a two-year specialized postgraduate degree of LL.M in Commercial Law.
