On 20 April 2016, Syed Imad-ud-Din Asad [Founding Director, UMT School of Law and Policy] had a detailed meeting with Haider Ashraf [DIG (Operations), Lahore] to discuss possibilities of collaboration between SLP and Lahore Police. The two identified various areas of mutual interest and agreed to take things forward.
