On 29 August 2016, SLP's delegation, lead by Syed Imad-ud-Din Asad [Founding Director and Associate Professor, SLP], was hosted by Tom Vandenkendelaere [Member, EU Parliament] at the EU Parliament in Brussels.
Mr. Vandenkendelaere had a detailed and frank discussion with Prof. Asad and his students regarding various matters ranging from the ongoing migrant crisis to Brexit. Mr. Vandenkendelaere's staff also gave the delegation a tour of the EU Parliament and explained its composition and procedures. The meeting was facilitated by Dries Cools [Financial Lawyer, Belgian National Bank].
