SLP Law Moot Society

Participation in a law moot provides students with an exposure of identifying legal issues out of a complexed fictional scenario which usually centers around a simulated appellate court case. The participants of a law moot activity conduct comprehensive legal research on such issues followed by drafting extensive written submissions and finally the grueling orals before a bench of esteemed judges.

Mooting enables students

  • To explore and think deeply about topical legal issues;
  •  To enhance their advocacy, legal research and writing skills;
  •  To work closely with and learn from their peers and develop networking in the field.
  •  To demonstrate their potential in advocacy and competence as an advocate.
