BACHELOR OF LAWS (LLB)

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The LLB programme follows HEC Undergraduate Education Policy 2023 V 1.1 provisions and comprises a minimum of 08 regular semesters (Four Years). Universities may offer courses consisting of a maximum of 148 credit hours provided that the total number of credit hours are reasonably set to achieve the desired Programme Learning Outcomes.

Minimum: 4 Years
Maximum: 6 Years
(Further extendable to another year subject to approval of university statutory body as per HEC policy)

1–2 weeks examination
8–9 weeks summer semester
1 week examination

15–18 credit hours (regular semester)
Up to 8 credit hours (summer semester)

3 Credit Hours (Theory)

3 classes (1 hour each) OR
2 classes (1.5 hours each) OR
1 class (3 hours) per week

1 Credit Hour (Practical Work)

3 contact hours per week throughout the semester
